Product information

POWERTRAIN

The Daytona 250FI’s fuel-injected 249cc engine features an overhead camshaft designed to unleash additional top-end power and instant throttle response in all conditions, while a remote oil cooler helps dissipate engine heat during back-country roosting. A manual clutch and 4-speed transmission gives riders the ultimate in control, and a handy reverse gear is also part of the package.

CHASSIS & SUSPENSION

The Daytona 250FI has an advanced front suspension design that includes dual A-arms with adjustable camber/caster to suit various terrains. Adjustable front and rear shocks can be set to suit riders of all sizes, and the front shocks feature nitrogen-charged remote reservoirs to keep the dampers cool when the pace gets hot. Lightweight aluminum wheels reduce unsprung weight for optimum responses.

SPORTY STYLING

It takes only a quick glance at the Daytona 250FI to realize it’s designed to rip up the trails at high speed. The rakish front end flows into a mini wind deflector and color-matched handguards. Squinty-eyed LED headlights look aggressive and provide excellent illumination, and a digital instrument panel provides all the data (speed, gear position, rpm, fuel level) they need to keep roosting even after dark.

The Denago Difference - A Comparison Guide

The entry-level sport segment with ATVs in the 200cc-300cc range is topped by the Daytona 250FI, which might be the saving grace for the sportier side of this underserved category. The sport ATV category typically means manual shift with a hand-activated clutch, and the Daytona uses a true sport setup with a clutch-activated 4-speed manual transmission (with a reverse gear) mated to a chain to deliver optimal performance. The Honda is the only other one of the four that offers manual shifting, but it's mated to a driveshaft that limits performance, and it uses a carburetor rather than the Daytona's more precise and modern fuel-injection The Daytona also offers additional suspension adjustments and piggyback shock reservoirs, and its front and rear disc brakes are superior to the drum brakes on the Polaris and the rear of the TRX. Price is where these machines really separate themselves, with the Daytona at a super-affordable price of $2,699, which is HALF the Honda's MSRP. The Daytona 250FI simply offers the best performance and the best value in its class. There is nothing else quite like it.
