The MX3 sits atop our MX line of dirt bikes. It’s built around the same rugged frame as the MX2 – a medium-size chassis suitable for teenagers and adults to use on a wide variety of terrains – but is upgraded with a more powerful engine for maximum performance. At its heart is a 140cc OHC engine, which is capable of ripping up motocross tracks or simply enjoyed as a high-performance trail bike.

The MX3 features adjustable suspension, folding and adjustable hand levers, an aluminum folding shift lever, and adjustable handlebar clamps, along with a color-matched CNC-machined aluminum brake reservoir cap and chain-adjuster blocks. Its competitors are heavier and more expensive. A colormatched aluminum shifter features a foldable design that is nearly impossible to break.

RACY BUT ACCESSIBLE

The 140cc engine produces loads of power, and heat is shed via the cylinder’s cooling fins and an auxiliary oil cooler. It transmits power through an improved 4-speed transmission and a more durable gold-anodized chain. A beefy inverted fork handles bumps and jumps with ease, and its damping is adjustable to suit a variety of off-road terrain. The rear monoshock has spring-preload adjustability to accommodate a wide range or rider weights, and it includes rebound-damping adjustments to dial in optimal suspension control. Powerful hydraulic front and rear disc brakes quickly shed speed.

The MX3 is backed by Denago’s six-month warranty that covers both parts AND labor, while some competitors have much shorter warranties that don’t cover labor costs.
