The MX1 is one of Denago’s best-sellers thanks to its auto-clutch and electric starter that simplifies learning how to ride, yet it has a foot-shifting 4-speed transmission that teaches riders how to choose optimal gears for a variety of riding conditions and expand the bike’s performance envelope. An adjustable throttle limiter can dial back power while junior riders are learning or kept unrestricted to unleash full power from its 107cc overhead-cam engine that’s larger and stronger than its competitors.

ADJUSTABILITY

Denago engineered a variety of adjustments for the MX1 that enable riders of all sizes to feel comfortable on our most popular dirtbike. Handlebar clamps are adjustable for a custom fit, the span from the front brake lever to the throttle grip can be set to suit hands large and small, and the rear monoshock and inverted fork are adjustable for spring-preload and damping to suit riders of various sizes and weights.

INEXPENSIVE BUT NOT CHEAP

A quick glance at the sporty MX1 shows a multitude of premium components not typically found on its competition. Along with its adjustable inverted fork and adjustable monoshock, the MX1 includes CNCmachined aluminum chain-adjuster blocks, brake reservoir caps, and anodized aluminum fuel-hose cap, all color-matched to the MX1’s six available colorways. Both the front brake lever and the color-matched aluminum shifter feature foldable designs that are nearly impossible to break. Hydraulic front and rear disc brakes quickly shed speed.
